THE LATEST
Our theme for the 2008 - 2009 Season is to bring speakers who have "actually done" things. Shirley Iscrupe is an author of several booklets on Genealogical Reseach who clearly meets
this description. Her presentaion will show how you can locate homesites and use your findings to enhance your family's history.
Following her presentation and a question period. We will add a brief footnote on recent events on DNA research which will
remind you of last year's "kick-off speaker" Richard Newhouse who explained DNA "markers".
Jim Stuber and Homer James are two regular members who also have made great accomplishments with their family trees and will show us
how we can move forward with our research.
Marilyn Holt will brighten the new year at our January 19, 2009, meeting. Her Genealogy presentations are remembered throughout
western PA for their sparkling approach to family history research.
We regularly meet at 1 PM in Meeting Room B at the Library on the third Monday of the month. You will not want miss a single meeting in the 2008-09 season!
